Fast-Mage is the operating name of Fasteo SASU, a French managed hosting company headquartered in Biarritz. We run high-traffic Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Sylius stores for around 120 active customers, in close collaboration with their internal teams and agencies.

Sixteen years of running Magento in production.
One business, one trade, one client at first. Then the team, the structure and the platform grew, while the operating principles stayed the same.
- 2009Founded
Fast-Mage started as a sole proprietorship, hosting and developing a first Magento store for a single client. The brand was already built around one trade: Magento operated by people who run Linux.
- 2012First scaling
Volume outgrew the French auto-entrepreneur scheme. The activity moved to a sole proprietorship structure to keep up with growing client demand without changing the operating model.
- 2013Fasteo SASU
Fasteo SASU is incorporated to give the business a structure fit for the next phase. The headquarters move to the Estia engineering school incubator (Bayonne), backed by the local Chamber of Commerce.
- 2016Magento 2 era
Magento is acquired by Adobe and Magento 2 ships. We rebuild our stack templates, custom modules and Ansible playbooks to migrate existing customers and onboard new ones on the new platform.
- 2020Sysadmin team grows
A new senior sysadmin joins to keep response time tight as the client portfolio expands. Internal tooling, monitoring and the 24/7 on-call rotation are formalised around this hire.
- 2024Batcher.ai
Customers start running large daily volumes of LLM prompts on private infrastructure. We begin building Batcher.ai, a spreadsheet-style interface to orchestrate thousands of AI calls across private and third-party models. Public release in 2025.

Three resilience profiles, from single-VM managed to multi-DC Galera + Redis Sentinel + load balancer with anti-affinity. Backups on at least two European providers in two countries.
Private AI
GPU inference on your own servers, open-source models, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, Open-WebUI for your team. Free Batcher.ai access for hosting customers.

Direct line to a sysadmin
No call center, no scripted tier 1. Tickets land on the same engineers who built and operate the infrastructure. Median first response is well under the 30-minute contractual SLA for high-priority incidents during business hours.
Agency-first by design
Around 60% of new customers come from agency and freelance developer referrals. We protect that channel: your agency keeps the relationship and the codebase, we run the infra alongside them.
European sovereignty
Data stays in the EU. Production and backups split across European providers (OVH, Scaleway, Hetzner, UpCloud). Hardened Debian, PCI DSS available on dedicated tiers, GDPR-compliant by construction.
Honest about limits
We publish a detailed DRP with explicit RPO/RTO targets per profile, single-VM included. Operational metrics we cite are objectives, not contractual promises. The contract is the contract.
